A little something for a friend that is very nice to me. To make one of your own you will need 2 small wash cloths, a clear plastic cup, a straw and decorations of your choice. Roll the washcloths and layer in the cup, decorate, cut the straw, insert and add a "cherry!" Supposed to have been for Valentine's Day about 2 years ago, but I finally got one done!

The only kind of "Stationery" for me!
Have you ever ridden a stationary bike? I used to ride Aerodyn's. . . I hated it! If I'm going to exercise I need fresh air and not a stuffy, sweaty gym! I know some people are addicted to them, but this is the only kind of stationery I want to slave on! I know it isn't likely to help my abs or thighs, but my mom enjoyed getting this as a Valentine's Day gift!

Valentine's Day
So who else but me would sign up to make sugar cookies and frosting for 60 kids in our homeschool group to decorate at our annual Valentine's Party? You guessed it! I also couldn't find the time to make them until midnight on Valentine's Day! We did get the kids' Valentine's mailboxes and valentines to give done on Sunday, but last minute me was up most of the night making the cookies. It was sure a lot of fun and definitely worth it. .JPG)

I'm Drowning In Pink!
What does it look like when you are prepping for 50 primary children to make Valentines? It looks like my studio looked all week:

I cut 150 base cards, hundreds of hearts in many shapes and sizes, pages of clever valentine comments and many cute "stamped" images for the children to cut and color.

Hours of work and how long did 50 children take to make these sweet cards? Take a guess in the comment section of this post and if you are closest I will send you one of my exclusive Valentine's previously posted on this blog!

The original creator of this project is Nicole Heady (a most talented and amazing artist.) I did have to create my own template so I could reproduce them and that is the one I'll post!

Design Team Challenge #2
Before Christmas I promised the results of my design challenge number 2:
This assignment was to use stamping, make something masculine and use the color pink. I'm not sure I nailed the masculine, but this is my hubby's Valentine's card:

On another note I was the lucky recipient of a wide screen computer monitor for Christmas (thanks Mom!) BUT. . . my blog looks terrible. . . The photos are horrible and the colors are WAY OFF!!! On my little 14" monitor (which I could barely squint and see) everything looked great! Soooooo, my apologies for the bad photo editing and I'll try to do better!
