Sometimes You Need a Challenge

Mary, thank you for challenging me with the 6th Picture Challenge! These were my challenge instructions:

1. Go to your photo folder in your computer.
2. Go to the 6th folder of the photos.
3. Go to the sixth picture.
4. Put the picture on your blog and description of it.
5. Invite six friends to join the challenge.
6. Link them in your blog and let them know they have been challenged!
While I'm only about 6 days late on getting this challenge accomplished, I really just needed a kick in the pants to start posting again. My apologies for those who've dreaded the day I returned. :) But for those who were absolutely lost without me (or those that just occasionally wondered if I would ever check back in) I promise I'm back and I will try and make it up to you! I do have lots to post and more to post about, but I really just needed the KICK IN THE PANTS!

Here is my 6th folder Picture:

I have found a new love for photography and while I dream of having the bad boy Canon, this was taken with my $249 Costco knock off brand. This was a bloom I found while visiting the zoo with my kids on February 21st. It was wonderful day and I took this as well as several others that with my novice skills and cheapo camera! While not my favorite of the day, I'm not embarrased to talk about it either! P.S. While I've downloaded my fair share of PS photo actions and looked at many tutorials for wowing up photos, this one is completely unedited too!

I hope no one will shoot me, but I'm leaving this at step 4. Nothing personal, but I'm happy to be blogging again.

Hi Rachele, I actually have been thinking a lot about you lately and wondering if you were doing ok. I know that everyones life doesn't revolve around blogging, so I realize that you have probably just been living life. I see on your Tweeter that you just lost your dad, I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.

Talk to you soon,
Love,
Nicole
