I just love my little snowmen! I found a tutorial
here!
I bought the socks at the dollar spot at Target and cleaned out 2 stores to get them! It's hard to see that they have "snow" glitter on them, but it adds a nice touch in real life! Stop by to visit this holiday season and one of these precious babies is sure to be yours!!!

OMGOODNESS....you have been very busy girlfriend and I might add these are some of the most adorable ornaments I have seen in ages. Wow, Wow, Wow thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
Rachel...These are absolutely adorable. Thanks for the inspiration!
Pat
I think your snowbabies have much cuter faces than the inspiration ones!
So cute! I'm glad you don't live anywhere near me, as I HAD to go to Target as soon as I saw these so I could buy socks. They had plenty there and I got enough to do 16 snowmen of my own. I agree -- yours are cuter that the tutorial. I also lifted your believe framed artwork and made one similar for a swap gift at stamp club. Keep those great ideas coming!
I love the snow bunnies,
What size ornaments did you use. Would love to "lift" this idea.
Thanks!
The ornaments are the "medium size" ones in clear. They are about 2.5" wide. Hope that helps!
These are adorable!!! What a fun thing to create :)
These are TOO wonderful! I live too far away to 'stop by' but I have some questions!
1.) did you stamp or draw those adorable faces on?
2.) how did you accomplish the nose? I am trying to picture the directions in the tutorial... but I am not getting it...
3.) did you also buy the clear ornaments at Target?
Thank you so much for sharing these precious darlings! I can't wait to do a few myself!
Hey Kisha. . .
I drew my faces with a paint pen.
I used tiny orange buttons for the noses. Wire was just too tedious!
I bought some pearl white ones at Target, but I bought my clear ones (that I filled with acrylic white paint) from Michaels. You could get them at HL or Joanne's or probably Wally World too!
Hope that helps! Post what you make so I can see!
Rachele - Is there anything you can't do? You are amazing!! I wish I lived closer so I could make a total nuisance of myself!!
Love you! & still looking up in admiration!!!
Rachele! Thank you so much for all your help! I did some this weekend - go check out my blog to see them ok? Let me know what you think. I don't take the greatest pictures.
Kisha
Rachele thanks so much! I didn't have and couldn't find little orange buttons at AC Moore so a quick AHA moment and the hearts sealed the deal. Thank YOU for posting these I love them!
And the sour cream containers... why didn't I think of those for gifties? LOL Great idea!
Merry Christmas!
These are sooooo, so cute! I love snowmen and these are just adorable!
Merry Christmas!
Rachele, These are soo cute I had to try them but my ornaments are having problems with the paint adhereing to the ornament. Got any suggestions or tips? Thanks.
~Merry Christmas~
Dear lauxbug227,
I didn't find the tutorial until after I made mine and I think she said to water down the paint. . . I didn't. I squirted the paint in the ornament and shook them like crazy! After they had paint coverage I laid them back in their trays for about 24 hours and then tipped them upside down in a cup for about an hour a piece, put them back in the tray for another 24 hours and then assembled. I do think they have to be dry first. I used a 2 oz bottle of paint for 12 ornaments and there was about half the paint back in the glass after I tipped them upside down. I hope that helps! Good luck and Merry Christmas to you too!
While this post is over a year old, I LOVE THE BABIES.
I am new at the blog thing so bear with me.
Would you explain how you attach your hanger and what you use? Do you use the double stick tape to keep the hat in place? AND THE BUTTON NOSES - PERFECT. I was thinking the wire was too much for me too.
The socks you have are beyond cute. I love the green. I am off to target to see what I can find. I have plenty of clear ornaments as I always buy them on sale each year after the holidays. OH AND A BIG BOTTLE OF WHITE PAINT. So put the paint in, shake well, let it sit for 24 hours, then turn upside down in a cup? Is that the way to do it?
Can't wait to try these.
